The 'new cristal' trebles are produced from a new improved nylon: the amount of crystalline is optimized and thanks to high-tech methods, top quality clear nylon, as transparent as crystal whose intonation is perfectly true. This nylon is not rectified by mechanical way in order to keep a smooth surface on it. A surface treatment and a control driven by a computer using laser beam and photoelectric cells permit a real precision and regularity of the gauge. They bring nylon strings indisputable improvements in clearness, expressiveness, long lasting, accuracy and ease of playability. This new nylon is a great success and a real improvement in clarity of sound.

The silver-plated wound Alliance classic bass strings are made according to a more traditional design and elaborated technology to offer a fast response, a brighter and more brilliant sound. They are rust protected. They are stiffer (giving the feeling of a stiff string, not to be confused with elasticity) and allow a powerful playing. They offer more resistance under the right hand fingers while facilitating the left hand velocity.
