This set of geared, tapered tuning flamenco guitar pegheds with ebony grip and inlay allow strings to be tuned more easily and accurately than traditional wooden pegs and mechanical tuners. Tune confidently and securely with the left hand while playing open strings with the right hand; even during performance! They prevent sudden and repeated wrenching of pegs and eliminate the unnecessary weight, mass, and muting effects of metal tuners. To be installed in the scroll in a similar manner as traditional wood pegs, using a standard reamer. There are no disfiguring holes to drill. No screws are required for installation. They also can be shortened to fit lyre guitars, uke, etc...

The weight is minimal (app 13 grams each peg) and aesthetically they are indistinguishable from ungeared, traditional pegs.
